From

My
thoughts go too
Known
as Unbeweavables, I travel throughout the Southwest to sell my
richly colored and textured wearables and accessories at juried fine art/craft fairs,
galleries, and wool festivals. If I’m not on the road I’m in the
studio.
My passion for Fiber
Art began at my mother's feet as she worked at her sewing machine
hour after hour. I would sit quietly mesmerized and analyze the
look, colors and texture of the fabrics. Born and raised in Western
North Carolina where the craft culture is an integral part of life,
I would watch the calendar for the semi annual Highlands Crafts
Guild Show where I would spend hours viewing and delighting in all
of the wonderful work. This
inspired me to try many different crafts until I discovered my
passion for weaving while in College. Now, thirty years later, I am
deeply engrossed in the many facets of Fiber Arts. Typical
of many fiber artists, weaving just isn't enough.... so I dye, spin,
sew, paint, bead, felt, and who knows what else.... in addition to
the loom work.
